Wayne – otherwise known as the ‘Wollongong Whizzkid’ – went from a boy riding around his hometown on a five-dollar dirt bike to become the 1987 World Motorcycle Grand Prix Champion and a national icon.
This brilliant film from 2018 uses interviews with Wayne, his rivals, family and friends to paint a colourful portrait of one of the hard-men of 500cc Grand Prix racing.
