Scottish Motorcycle Show at Lanark

For our first motorcycle show in Scotland we have tried to cater for all motorcycling tastes, a successful formula used by local heroes Robbie and Margaret Allan during the time that they ran their successful Scottish Show.

We have two great Scottish road race stars, Donnie McLeod and Jim Moody, as our guests of honour this weekend, and they will be joined by a whole host of legendary heroes over the two days. Check the timetable below to make sure you don’t miss a stage appearance.

There will be the usual mix of trade stands, that final part you need to complete your restoration in the autojumble and shiny new and used modern machinery from all the leading manufacturers and dealers to tempt you.Spectacular motorcycle stunt displays by Kevin Carmichael at Scottish Bike Show

We’ve also planned plenty of action, with a pre-65 scramble, trials demonstration and some amazing hand-in-the-mouth stunt riding from Kevin Carmichael (image, right). Kevin took a number of world championship titles for competitive stunt riding between 1997 and 2004 and has since performed at shows across Europe, America and the Far East.

And we’ve brought one of the most popular elements of the two Stafford shows – the Classic Racer Grand Prix Paddock – to Scotland. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the sight, sounds and smells of some rare race machinery. Remember your earplugs, because these bikes are loud!

When we took the decision to put on an event in Scotland we knew there were only two people to turn to, Robbie and Margaret Allan, who owned and ran the Scottish Motorcycle Show for 25 years. They jumped at the chance to be involved, and for almost a year have been working alongside our Lincolnshire-based team to put on the best show we possibly could first time around.
