The International Classic Motorcycle Show is very much a traditional classic show that attracts the best from around the world. There are club stands, trade stands, private entries and a massive autojumble that fills several of the halls and outside field at the Stafford County Showground. It is always a great draw for the enthusiast and last year over 30,000 people flocked to the Show Ground. Will you be one of them this year? Bonhams Auctioneers & Valuers always runs a classic auction on Sunday, with viewing on Saturday. Cash Machines are on site, provided by Cash on The Move. Car parking is FREE for the duration of the weekend to visitors. There will be a helmet park provided, run by Riders for Health in the main car park, all proceeds going to the charity.
Come and meet Phil Read!
Our guest of honour for the 33rd Carole Nash International Classic Motorcycle Show is eight-times world champion Phil Read, who as a rider had the ability and experience to transcend several eras and succeed in all.
Phil is a man who thrived in several golden racing periods, excelling in the days of the British big single (a TT winner in 1961 on a Norton), a multiple world champion on Japanese two-strokes, likewise on Italian four-strokes and finally a TT winner again (Honda, 1977), on the big Japanese multis.
Phil will be on stage twice on the Saturday and Sunday – full schedule below – and is just one of the many attractions of the Stafford weekend.
We hope to see you there.
