J. Wood and Company is hosting a No Reserve Motorcycle Estate Auction on July 30.
The auction starts at 9am EST in Cheshire, Massachusetts in the United States of America. Online bidding is available on Hibid at www.jwood.hibid.com
About the auction
Jim Hoellerich was a top rider in the New England Enduro Racing Circuit with hundreds of trophies and medals to show for it. He was a marshal at the 48th ISDT in Dalton, MA and enjoyed hosting reunion events at the farm.
Throughout his later years, Jim became immersed in restoring enduro-era motorcycles and old snowmobiles. When completed, these restored machines took place on the showroom floor in his “Museum of Vintage Trail Bikes”. He never charged admission but he did accept donations.
The museum brought him much company in retirement, with over 400 people per year making reservations to visit him and the Museum.
Jim never sold anything but in his will he requested that his collection be auctioned off to other collectors. Jim’s Vintage Trail Bike Museum contains over 145 different vintage bikes from various makes like Ossa, Penton, Bultaco, Yankee, Rokon Elsinore, Honda and more. Everything will be photographed and listed on Hibid starting early July, and will continue to be updated until the auction.
The auction also contains vintage parts, engines, autographed items, signs, banners, patches, magazines, jerseys, helmets, tanks, memorabilia and more.
