First all, I love CMM magazine! It’s a bit more expensive here in Canada but there isn’t a magazine like it over here.
I just wanted to share pictures of my 1977 Honda CB750A Hondamatic. I picked up a 1976 Hondamatic three years ago in some horse trading and didn’t even know what it was at first. It was in real sorry shape so I stripped it down and began to restore it with lots of inspiration from CMM.
While I was rebuilding her, I acquired this 1977 for parts, but once I got it home (after a lot of wiring fixes and a carb overhaul) she fired right up! Bonus! So I moved some of my restored 1976 parts to this 1977 for now so I could get in some riding time this summer. It has been a great bike. I NEVER thought an automatic motorcycle would be of any interest to me.
This bike is so much fun in the city, yet has the legs to get on the long open Canadian highways. I am going on 1100km so far and I love it. Without a clutch, I can even drive it while holding a cup of tea! Or coffee! Ha!
