The organisers try to make the event a little different each time; this year’s event is based at an authentic, period (1930s), Hi-de-Hi! style chalet holiday camp.
One of the section’s younger members George Case (a lad in his 20s) has restored and is riding a 1913 Alldays and Onion which has been in his (farming) family from new. To celebrate its 100 years, he and the section would like to speficically invite other owners of Alldays and Onions to join the Scurry. The Case family has kindly offered to host a picnic at their farm and hope to see more examples.
The event is sponsored by Wightlink a ferry company who kindly assist with the cost of the ferry travel.
