The images have been used to create a cheeky calendar which will be sold to raise funds for the Spinal Injuries Association. One picture shows East Northants Classic Motorcycle Club members sitting naked in a barn with their bikes, tents and camping gear. Another shows a man wearing nothing but a flat cap and boots staring intently ahead as he sits astride his motorcycle.
The association’s individual and community fundraising manager Elizabeth Wright said: “We are always looking for new and fun ways to raise money as we have to find £2 million a year to fund our vital services. We receive no Government funding so we rely on entirely voluntary donations.”
The association raises awareness of spinal cord injuries resulting from motorcycle accidents.
Three people a day are paralysed for life through damage to the spinal cord with around 40,000 in the UK living with spinal cord injury.
The calendar costs £9.99 and is available through the club website www.eastnorthantsclassicmcc.co.uk or by phone from the Spinal Injuries Association on 0845 071 4350.
