Though primarily a car show, there was a motorcycle element too, with one hall dedicated to two-wheelers. Highlights included George Pooley’s ‘V-six’ Trident/Rockets 3 and the ex-Hugh Viney 1953 ISDT AJS Model 20, registration number AJS 5.
Meanwhile, a reminder that the Southern Classic Off-road show and jumble is set to take place this weekend (December 7), with headlining motorcycles from Brough Superior and Vincent – the Broughs in the form of the record breaking ‘Daytona’ machines, the Vincents a trio of racers, two of which were campaigned by Ted Davis.
The show is at Kempton Park Racecourse, TW16 5AQ. Opens at 10am.
