It was a bit chilly in the autojumble hall but plenty of hot bargains kept spirits up, even Classic Dirt Bike editor Tim Britton parted with a bob or two for some much needed workshop kit. There were some tasty bikes there too and the prices were not unreasonable.
At one point in the Show it was difficult to move away from our stand as the hordes of people were packing the aisles and all with a healthy interest in the classic and twinshock scene too.
There were plenty of famous faces at the show too. Troy Corser’s name is more closely associated with road racing these days but he started out in MX and still runs MX training courses at Wheeldon MX track where he teaches bike control and how to go fast. That’s him above, with a few admirers…
The International Dirt Bike Show is open until 5.00pm on Sunday. Adult admission is £15, youths £7.50 and children aged ten and under go free. Parking is plentiful and free!
