The event is due to be held at the Stafford County Showground over the weekend of April 28-29 and is expected to once again pull in big crowds thanks to its superb mix of displays, trade and autojumble stalls and club stands.
Giacomo Agostini will be returning to Stafford this spring as guest of honour on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Italian, who will be 70 this summer, is quite possibly the greatest racer ever to take to the track on two wheels. He won a staggering 15 world championship titles in the 1960s and 70s in the 350 and 500cc classes.
As a special treat the Stafford show will also feature an ‘audience with…’ event on the Saturday evening, and tickets are now on sale.
The dinner, which will also feature a question and answer session with the former MV Agusta and Yamaha rider, starts at 8pm at the Tillington Hall Hotel, Stafford. There will also be a charity auction in aid of the TT Riders’ Association.
Tickets for the evening include a buffet meal, entry into a prize draw and a chance to meet Ago himself. They cost £25 each. To book call 01507 529529 or email [email protected]
Now’s the time to not only book for the ‘audience with…’ but also the show itself, as you can make some real savings and also get in ahead of the queues – visit www.classicbikeshows.com or call 01507 529529 for more information.
Pre-booked tickets for the show cost just £10 for an adult, £8.50 for seniors and £3 for under-15s, but on the gate the prices are £12, £10.50 and £4. Gates open 9am on both days and close 6pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.
