It can also be used when converting a six-volt bike to 12-volt using the original alternator.
The kit comes with an easy-to-follow circuit diagram and all connectors, sleeving and cable ties required. It uses the British standard wiring colours in order to make sense against the bike’s original diagram, although it’s a lot simpler.
A fuse and holder are included, along with a reel of self-amalgamating tape to tidy up the job.
The wiring kit is available from Paul Goff, 62 Clare Road, Prestwood, Bucks HP16 0NU (01494 868218; [email protected]) at £39.95 plus £4.95 p&p. The A Reg One rectifier costs £36.95.
