Representing both Triumph Motorcycles and the National Motorcycle Museum, he’ll be riding two of the Hinckley concern’s current bikes, the Speed Triple and Thruxton R, as well as two iconic Triumphs supplied by the NMM – the Triumph Bonneville that Malcolm Uphill took to victory in the production TT and the 750cc Production TT-winning Trident ‘Slippery Sam’, that was rebuilt after the museum’s devastating fire of 2003.
Over the Saturday and Sunday he’ll be riding the four bikes a total of four times as part of the joint Triumph/NMM Past and Present feature.
When not in use on the hill, the bikes will be on display in the motorcycle paddock.
