Kev graced the pages of MCM regularly over the years, providing erudite, accurate and thorough reporting on all the latest bikes, made possible by his keen interest and deep knowledge of all things two-wheeled.
Not only was he an incredibly well-respected motorcycling journalist both here in the UK and internationally, he was one of the friendliest, down to earth, genuine and professional blokes in the industry, never afraid to speak his mind or help out in any way he could.
He was also a great personal friend to all of us here at MCM. We will sorely miss his humour, pathos and ability to enjoy life to the full, whatever he was doing.
Our deepest sympathy is extended to his family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.
