Sadly, even though much of the motorcycle industry is starting to get back to something that could be called ‘normal’, there are still issues emanating from the Covid pandemic that are resulting in cancellations and postponements.
The National Motorcycle Museum’s annual autumnal shindig, Museum Live, that was due to take part on Hallowe’en has been cancelled for 2020, and will return next year.
The event, in which the museum throws open its doors to the public for free, has become very popular since its inception six years ago, with not only the usual exhibits drawing in the crowds, but also additional traders, autojumble stands, guest speakers and a live ‘fire-up’ area all aiding in promoting the valuable work undertaken by the museum.
Sadly, the museum remains closed due to the social distancing measures required in these strange times, with a subsequent drastic reduction in the museum’s funding.
