Birmingham-based Mutt Motorcycles has launched a new range of stripped back small retro singles.
The FSR, available as a 125 or 250, uses all the components of Mutt’s classic range including a twin shock frame, single-cylinder four-stroke engine blended with an assortment of hand-made and custom produced goodies to produce a bike with an urban-focused sporty vibe. Mutt says the FSR is designed for “hacking around the city super-fast and looking unbelievably cool as you’re doing it”.

Co-founder Benny Thomas added: “The FSR has still got your classic heavy-duty matt black tank and of course, everything is finished in the blackest of blacks.
“The main difference with the FSR compared to our other models is the new lightweight 17in cast wheels, but when you chuck in its low-profile seat and the lightweight anodised aluminium parts, the speed demon’s ears really pick up. The aluminium parts are completed with a set of short rider pillion pegs and a ‘drilled for speed’ gear lever and shift peg. If you like your bikes black, sleek and compact, this is the machine for you.”
Mutt’s detailing provides an exhaust shield, handmade TIG welded stainless steel mudguard brackets, new rear gas shocks and aluminium low-rise bars. Mutt has also opened a brand new 35,000 square foot Birmingham HQ, The House of Mutt, complete with a retail store, coffee shop, music venue and a secret whisky bar.
The 125cc FSR is priced at £3495, with the 250cc priced £4250. Both are available either directly from Mutt Motorcycles, or via its network of dealers.
