The National Motorcycle Museum (NMM) has announced it intends to reopen the museum to visitors on May 17.
The NMM has thanked supporters who have raised funds for their COVID-19 appeal raffles over the last 12 months. Those funds will now be used to help to reopen the museum, albeit for a limited way at first.
From May 17, restrictions permitting, the museum collection, shop and restaurant will reopen.
However, the NMM has raised around half of their £500,000 reopening target, and are reminding followers to take part in their Adversity Recovery Appeal Raffle to help them achieve their goal.
It is hoped the museum will be able to return to a normal seven days a week opening hours from June 21, 2021.
Details of the appeal can be found below, with special thanks going to Triumph Motorcycles for donating the brand new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 as a first prize.
1st Prize: Brand new 2021 Triumph Trident 660cc motorcycle. Stunning new model donated by Triumph Motorcycles.
2nd Prize: 1978 Triumph Trident T160 750cc motorcycle. Low mileage and only one previous owner.
3rd Prize: 1956 Triumph Tiger T100 500cc motorcycle. Fresh from restoration in the museum’s workshop.
The prize draw for the “Triumph Over Adversity” appeal raffle will take place on Friday, June 25 at The National Motorcycle Museum.
