1961 Triumph Twenty-One

This machine had been left in a leaky shed where water ingress had caused a lot of damage over time. Luise and her husband John rescued the bike and set about returning it to its former glory.

Triumph released the Twenty-One in light blue colour which they called ‘Shell Blue’. Luise and John have tried to recreate that initial colouration, but have used a modern base coat and lacquer paints to ensure that the finish will remain hard-wearing and resilient to all forms of damage. All of the fasteners have also been remade and polished in stainless steel.

The restoration took roughly two years to complete, and the bike has covered 1600 since it was resurrected.
