Guest of honour at this year’s event will be Mick Boddice, nine times sidecar TT winner, and after opening the show at 10.30am he will be mixing with the crowds for chats, autographs and photo opportunities.
The local PTA will be preparing hot and cold food throughout the day, while over at the Plough Inn show sponsor The Wood Brewery will have Twist Grip ale on. The show costs £3 to get in and once in visitors will enjoy a line up of bikes ranging from 1915 to late 1960. Several road racing machines will be fired up on the day while the bike park and autojumble provide extra attractions.
The event is clearly signposted from the A49 and it’s set to be another good day, with all profits raised going to Wistanstow Primary School (registered charity 1039913). If you want to be involved or show a bike, contact show organiser Ron Maund – 01588 672 551.
