It provides the opportunity for any biker, pre-booking and meeting the necessary criteria, to savour the joys of track riding and emulating the sport’s big names who have graced the Mallory Park circuit over the years. Legends like the former multi-world champion Giacomo Agostini, home-spun hero John Cooper and 20 time Isle of Man TT race winner John McGuinness, who will all be riding the circuit over the weekend.
To find out more about riding in these parade laps and to book your place check out the circuit’s website www.malloryparkcircuit.com and complete the application form. Alternatively, give them a ring on the Mallory hotline 01455 502214. Entries are limited and places subject to heavy demand, so best be quick.
Another key element of the weekend is ‘Club Central’, where clubs from all over the UK will gather to display their motorcycles. Certain to be buzzing with bikes and bikers keen to talk about their own club and its activities – it is the ideal recruiting ground for new members. Interested parties will find information and the club stand application form on the circuit website.
And to spice up the social side of the event, in the hospitality marquee there will be a licensed bar and entertainment for everyone, including this year’s runner up on BBC Television’s The Voice – local artist Sally Barker who will be performing on Friday evening, and then on Saturday evening a local 1950’s Rock and Roll band The Del Sharrons take centre stage.
